THE УНИ-TYPE TESTING PUMPING UNITS

Usage

These modular pumping units are designed for the hydraulic testing of pipelines, fittings, field equipment, and other equipment. Units of this type are widely used in oil and gas production facilities, community facilities, etc.

Design

The unit comprises:

• Box, where the equipment and instruments are installed;

• Sectional centrifugal unit;

• Controlled volume plunger unit;

• Two filters;

• By-pass device;

• Electrical contact pressure gage;

• Indicating pressure gage;

• SPTA sets for the controlled volume unit and centrifugal unit;

• Stop valves;

• The piping system;

• The electrical devices for control, indication, and protection.

All primary and auxiliary equipment, piping, valves, monitoring and measurement instruments, protection devices, electrical devices are installed in the box.

In the front wall of the box there is a two-fold access door for servicing of the equipment installed in the box; on the left side wall of the box there is a door for charging the tank with the operating fluid for pressure testing. The back wall of the box has a removable panel for servicing and repair of the piping, pressure gauges, and the tank.

Inside the box there is installed the electric motor-driven pumping unit АНЦС 2,5/32-М1 for feeding the fluid to the piping of the unit and the tested object, and there is also installed the controlled volume unit НД 25/1100К24А or НД 24/1100Д24А for pressure testing of the tested object with the operating fluid from the tank.On the suction pipes of the pumping units there are installed filters to ensure the desired purity of the fluid arriving to the pumps.

To the pressure line of the controlled volume unit (between the metering valve and the shutoff valve) there is connected the pressure takeoff pipe to the electrical contact pressure gauge, which ensuresmonitoring of the operating pressure of the controlled volume unit and shutting off the controlled

volume unit when the predetermined test pressure is reached; there is also connected the pipe to the by-pass device, which ensures by-pass of the feed to drainage when the pressure at the outlet of the controlled volume unit exceeds the permissible limit.

To the delivery (pressure test) line, downstream the valves, there is connected the pressure takeoff pipe to the pressure gauge, which ensures monitoring of the pressure of the tested object.

On the front panel of the box, on the left, there are arranged the control buttons for the units and the indicator lamps.
