ARTESIAN CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS AND PUMPING UNITS

Usage

The artesian centrifugal pumps and pumping units are designed to pump, as well as to pump out of subsurface reservoirs, water, oil, oil products and other liquids, non-aggressive to ferrous metals and rubber, with the content of mechanical impurities not more than 0.1% (w/w).

The temperature of the pumped water may be up to 308 К (35 °С), the temperature of oil and oil products from 233 К to 353 К (minus 40 °C to plus 80 °С).

The maximum density of oil and oil products is 0.95х103 kg/m3, the kinematic viscosity is 0.01х10–4 m2/sec to 0.8х10–4 m2/sec.

The oil artesian centrifugal pumping units are manufactured in the explosionproof make and are allowed for pumping liquids at explosion- and

fire-risk processes and plants. 

Design

The pumping unit consists of a motor mounted on the support body, a transmission portion, and a pumping portion. The pumping portion comprises a vertical centrifugal pump with axial supply of the pumped liquid. The transmission portion of type A and Na pumps comprises a drive shafting with intermediary bearings, which connects the pump to the motor and is arranged inside the pressure line. The transmission portion is made in the form of sections. Transmission section shafts have a threaded and clutch coupling connection. The bearings of both pumping portion and transmission portion are lubricated with the pumped liquid. The thrust bearings are lubricated with lubricating oil. The thrust bearings are arranged in the support body. The shafts of pumps used to pump water have gland seals while those of pumps used to pump oil and oil products have end seals.

20 is the diameter of case pipe scaled down 25 times;

А is the make (artesian — А; oil and artesian — НА);

18 is the speed rate scaled down 10 times;

3 is the number of pump stages (1, 2, 3 and so on);

М1 is the index and sequential number of modernization (М1, М2 and so on);

5 is the number of transmission sections;

УХЛ is the climatic version (У; У; УХЛ; Т; Т);

4 is the arrangement category (2, 3, 4);

ТУ У 3.19-05785454-059-96 is the reference of the technical specification.

The designation of the unit has the letter A before the designation of the pump.
